About me

I like all kinds of innovation, design, and art. I’m passionate about illustration and I usually go crazy in museums. I learned early to work with Photoshop and Illustrator, which is my favorite software to create. I’m very curious and I love to learn new things. I’ve taken courses of everything I could imagine, from calligraphy to French. I’ve created a collection of plush toys, but my best creation so far was my son, Leo. I’m currently a P.h.D candidate at University of Iowa and my research focus is on Child-Computer Interaction. I have been developing a participatory design method for working in partnership with preschool children to gain insights for different types of technologies. Some examples include a web-based app, a voice agent and, more recently, Internet of Things explorations. I also do freelance work in my free time with my partner at HOME STUDIO.
